Outreach Worker

Closing 24th January 2023

Are you looking to join a small local children’s charity that delivers big and help children to rebuild their futures? Do you enjoy a challenge? Enjoy networking and making new connections?

Brave Futures is a local charity working with children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse. We cover Suffolk and Norfolk. We offer a safe place where children and their families can receive help and support. We help our children to rebuild their futures. The charity is growing to meet the demands of children who need our support.

Brave Futures are looking for an Outreach worker to help raise awareness of the many services the charity offers to BAME and Vulnerable communities. Reaching hard to engage clients, ensuring barriers and challenges are removed so that everyone has the opportunity to access the support we offer. Ideally you will have a proven history of working with families from diverse backgrounds and two years experience within a similar role. You will have established/lasting relationships with local communities groups within the Ipswich/Suffolk area. This is a fixed term, 2 year contract with a view to extend.

We are committed to increasing our diversity and we would particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic applications, as they are underrepresented within Brave Futures.

You will be joining a hardworking team with exciting plans to grow. Driving licence and own transport is essential. Holiday 25 days plus Bank Holidays. For an informal chat about the role please call Patsy Johnson-Cisse on 01473 705111.
